The New Zealand Veterinary Nursing Association was founded in 1992 for the purpose of promoting the highest standards of veterinary nursing care and to foster and promote the interests and status of qualified veterinary nursing staff. With a membership of over 600, NZVNA is dedicated to ensuring the ongoing development of the profession and to increasing the awareness and professional perception of veterinary nurses amongst the pet owning public.
